I love the color green and wanted something really striking to wear with black tops. This piece used just about every piece of green components I had in my collection at the time. Most of the necklace is a very low quality jade and green seed beads. Each strand has a pattern to the center section - going strand by strand, there are three non-round beads in the top strand, then 5 Swarovski crystal squares, 7 spiral beads, 9 faceted beads and finally 11 glass pearls. I made up the difference with glass seed beads and there are some freshwater pearls tossed in for accent.
