Finally, after a very slow month of May, I'm getting back to my list of projects. In an effort to organize my thoughts, here's a short to-do list, which I may add to from time to time as I remember things that need to be on here. I don't expect this to make sense to anyone but myself...

Actual projects for other people:

DONE -- repair A Touch of Carnelian for Poe
DONE -- extend Red Red Roses
DONE -- Gwen's garnets (42 little marquise cut pieces of heaven!)
DONE -- concept piece for broken carnelian diamond
DONE -- earrings for DonaIvanova (massively overdue from her birthday)
-- chain mail commission for the Minx

Concepts to organize and implement:

-- Steampunk...need gears and other bits
-- Pantheon themed pieces (Greek, Egyptian)
-- "Endless" pieces (set concept)
-- Digital pieces...whittle down collection of computer parts

And I have a whole long list of other ideas and maybes to work through, but this will do for now. Hopefully I'm not missing any commissions...

Well then, I'm doubly flattered that you added me. I try to be fairly selective as well, just because I don't get a lot of time during my day to admire the pretties that appear in the community, but yours was just too much fun and inspiration to resist. I hope when I get around to adding more pieces to my gallery you continue to enjoy them! =)

I'm quite flattered by the return watch really! =)

I love almost everything in your gallery, which is why I just jumped straight to a watch instead of trying to fav _everything_ all at once. I'm really hoping to try some steampunk pieces myself in the near future and yours is wonderful inspiration for both that and to try to get back to the ideas I had for digital pieces which inspired my two "digital locket" pieces.

Keep up the great work! can't wait to see what else you come up with! =D

I can't promise how fast I'll get it back to you though, since I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had much time to work on projects. (I also have a few commissions from friends in the queue right now that I'd need to finish first.)

Well I find it very beautiful. Most of the males on my mothers side are jewelers. My grandpa has taught me how to carve stone to a very short boundary. I can make a cross, a moon, and of course any oval , circle or square-ish shape, but nothing too very intricate... If I do have a lovely stone, (it's a piece of black jade cut into the shape of an Arabic Sword [cant think of the name]) May I give it to you to work with? I think you'd be able to do it justice. I've had it for 2 years now and have no Idea what to do with it!

I haven't gotten as far as learning stone carving and other lapidary arts. I'm still working on getting my metal working to an acceptable standard.

Did you carve some of that jade yourself? Because if you did, I've always wanted to see a piece of jewelry with a jade lizard on it... sort of a reptile theme for all of us reptile freaks out there!

I don't generally sell my work, but I do accept commissions fairly regularly. A lot of the pieces in my gallery were gifts or commissions for friends. Mostly I just don't have time to make enough to sell on any sort of regular basis...full time job and all that. :)
